At Bendigo FM

Market hours were only from 8-11am to give way to a protest rally. Towards closing time, several cops started appearing, three of them came to the stall, hovering at the edge of the crowd.
Me: Oh, am I supposed to pack up now?
Cop1: No, no, we’re waiting to buy.
Me: Oh phew! That’s a relief.
When the crowd left with their PM, cops come closer.
Me: Here have a taste (handing them a sample)
Cop1: Oh no need. I bought a bag from Clunes and was telling them about your product so when I saw you were here I got so excited! I’ll take this one please (points to Coconut Caramel).
Me: Oh wow! That’s great you like it!
Cop1: Love it! (I hand her her purchase). Thanks!
Me: Thank you so much! And hey, be careful.
Cop Chorus: Thanks!
