Pink Tale #39, Peer Pressure
At Smart Living Ballarat FM
A group of five elegantly dressed women in full spring regalia strolls through the market, chattering away as they stroll. They spot the pink, all exclaiming “Pink Muesli??!!!”
Me: Yes, c’mon over ladies and have a taste (I beckon them closer.)
EDW1: What makes it so pink?
Me: Beetroot. Beetroot stains everything. Here have a taste. (I hand them all samples; the fifth one declined as she wasn’t feeling well)
EDW chorus: Umm, that’s so good! Who woulda thought. Beetroot!
EDW2 (the ill one): I don’t like muesli.
EDW3: Oh you’ll like this one (happily munching on the first sample)
EDW4: Yum, I’ll take one to try.
Me: But you haven’t tried them all. I have four flavours, I am happy for you to try them all so you can make an informed decision.
EDW5: Four! My goodness, ok let’s try them all. (I proceed with the samplings)
All this time EDW2 watches with great interest.
EDW1: Hard to choose, they are all so different.
All four end up buying two small bags each of different varieties.
EDW2: I’ll get some too. Which ones should I get? (addressing her girlfriends)
She buys two bags of different varieties.
EDW1: Will you be here next month? Where can we get more if we like them?
Me: I’m just in Daylesford and I also have an online store. Otherwise, I plan to be here again next month!
EDWchorus: Oh good! See you next time
Me: Thank you so much! Have a great day!
I love it when peer pressure works positively! Elegant women are in the pink ?
