At Bendigo FM

Family of young mum with two little boys came up to the stall led by the littler boy.
Me: Hello! Come for a taste? (littler boy nods and opens his mouth)
Mum: Hold out your hand darling and she’ll put some in. (He holds out his hand and I give him a sample. I offer some to the other boy but he declines, Mum declines too. By this time a few other folks have come closer for samples but were observing the boy.)
Boy: I love it! (in a loud voice and everyone smiles, especially me)
Me: Good on ya young man! Thank you! Would you like to get a bag? (I ask the Mum)
Mum: Maybe next time, he just wanted to have a taste. (she hurries the boys off, littler boy waves g’bye.)
The folks in waiting end up buying several bags after.
